Come Out Central West NSW (Parkes)

Parkes, in Central West NSW is the newest branch of Come Out Australia.
Our aim is to provide a regular meeting place and create a vibrant and visible community for
gay men, lesbians and bisexuals from across the region.
We want the people born in the region to stay and have pride in the place they call home.
We want to be a part of local events/festivals and the mainstream community. We'll do this by
working and planning with council and local community organisations wherever possible.
We want to be here to greet gay, lesbian and bisexual visitors/tourists to Parkes and
surrounding areas. If you're coming up for the Elvis Festival or to have a look at "THE DISH",
or just to visit relatives and/or friends, we want to welcome you to our little part of the world.
We plan to host a wide range of social events, from the backyard BBQ, nights out at the
Parkes Hotel or some of the fabulous restaurants and cafes in Parkes right through to big
events like dances or making a film.
We want to hear your suggestions.
We want you to "COME OUT" and join us
At the moment our main base is Parkes, however over time we hope to develop branches
and events across the Central West, in places like Forbes, Eugowra, Dubbo, Orange, Cowra,
Condobolin, Canowindra and more.
