The Epping Branch of Come Out Australia is based in the Northern Districts of suburban Sydney.
The branch is very pro-active in the local community and enjoy doing things locally.
Generally the events are based in cafés, restaurants, pubs and clubs in the local area.
On the Saturday 20 October 2007, the Come Out Australia Epping branch took part in the Eastwood Granny Smith
Festival marching in the parade and running an information stall under the banner of Ryde Rainbow Alliance {with
Parents & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) and the NSW Gay & Lesbian Counselling Service} .
Overall there were 35 of us in the parade, carrying umbrellas and signs as well as staffing the stall plus countless more
in the crowd of more than 70,000. We were very well received by both the audience and other participants in the parade.
Come Out Epping obtained the contact details of several new people who are interested in joining our group and many
more took flyers. We look forward to them joining us at future functions, and hope that you will too.
